A short kurta in a warm, sandy beige, with chikankari worked by hand in Lucknow. It is the fabric to reach for when the forecast says 40 degrees and you still want to look put together.
Muslin is a fine, loosely woven cotton with a soft, slightly crinkled hand — light enough to forget you're wearing it.
Every motif on this piece was embroidered by hand in Lucknow, the home of chikankari. Look closely at the reverse side and you'll see the shadow-work that machines cannot reproduce.
Pairs with jeans, palazzos or a long skirt.

Care
- Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash
- Mild detergent; no bleach
- Do not wring — press out water and dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting, never directly on the embroidery
