A long kurta in a warm, sunny yellow, with chikankari worked by hand in Lucknow. Tie-dye and chikankari together is a Lucknow classic done in a fabric made for the UAE.
Hand tie-dyed modal — every piece is dyed in small batches, so the pattern is never quite the same twice — with the same silky, breathable drape our plain modal is known for.
Every motif on this piece was embroidered by hand in Lucknow, the home of chikankari. Look closely at the reverse side and you'll see the shadow-work that machines cannot reproduce.

Care
- Wash separately for the first two or three washes.
- Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash
- Mild detergent; no bleach
- Do not wring — press out water and dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting, never directly on the embroidery
