Hand tie-dyed modal — every piece is dyed in small batches, so the pattern is never quite the same twice — with the same silky, breathable drape our plain modal is known for. Tie-dye and chikankari together is a Lucknow classic done in a fabric made for the UAE.
Chikankari is Lucknow's white-thread shadow embroidery, stitched entirely by hand — no two pieces are identical, and that is the point. On modal the stitches sit softly against the weave rather than on top of it.

Care
- Wash separately for the first two or three washes.
- Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash
- Mild detergent; no bleach
- Do not wring — press out water and dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting, never directly on the embroidery

Since the product is handmade and delicate, we recommend hand washing or dry cleaning for best use. It will also help in maintaining the softness of the fabric and prolonging its life. Don’t worry if the colour bleeds after the first wash.
