Mul cotton is the finest, airiest cotton there is — almost weightless, soft against the skin, and it only gets softer with every wash.
Every motif on this piece was embroidered by hand in Lucknow, the home of chikankari. Look closely at the reverse side and you'll see the shadow-work that machines cannot reproduce.

- Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash
- Mild detergent; no bleach
- Do not wring — press out water and dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting, never directly on the embroidery
