Pure cotton with a smooth, matte finish — breathable, easy to wear and fully non-transparent, which is why our cotton pieces are the ones customers come back for. Nothing clings, nothing shows through, and it takes the embroidery beautifully.
Chikankari is Lucknow's white-thread shadow embroidery, stitched entirely by hand — no two pieces are identical, and that is the point. On pure cotton the stitches sit softly against the weave rather than on top of it.

Care
- Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash
- Mild detergent; no bleach
- Do not wring — press out water and dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
- Iron on the reverse on a low setting, never directly on the embroidery
